Lyrics for “When the Sun Rises in the Morning Sky,” O Emmanuel

When the sun rises in the morning sky,
you will see the King of kings come
forth from the Father
like a radiant bridegroom from the bridal chamber.
Hodie Christus natus est:
Hodie Salvator apparuit:
Hodie in terra canunt Angeli,
Laetantur Archangeli
Hodie exsultant justi, dicentes:
Today Christ is born:
Today the Savior appeared:
Today on Earth the Angels sing,
Archangels rejoice:
Today the righteous rejoice, saying:

Thank you Dynamic Catholic for teaching me and allowing me to have the best Advent yet!!! This year the coming of Christmas was not filled with the entrapments of the season, but filled with wonder and joy for Christmas!!!

I am so proud to be associated with Dynamic Catholic!! Your efforts shared with everyone are very appreciated. Thank you for keeping me on track during the Advent Season … focusing on the importance of the season and seeing ways to adjust my lifestyle and thought process to aim in improving my being.

  • Mary

Today I am reminded of the reason for this season. As I watched my children at mass and the many things I have going in my life, the good and bad, the joys and fears, I reflected on the true journey of advent. Surely Mary did not expect to travel afar for the birth of her baby; to give birth to her boy in a manger; to see her son die on a cross for others. But she did it all with grace and love that we can only hope to have and share.
As Mary did, we all have a journey of faith. And as painful as it may be at times, we do it knowing that Jesus is the true reason for everlasting peace. Merry Christmas and many thanks to Dynamic Catholic for all that you have brought to my life!
