Why is Christmas the right time to hand out books?
At Christmas Mass, your parish will have record attendance. It’s your best opportunity to reach the 32% of Catholics who only come to church once or twice a year and show them the genius of Catholicism.
How many books should we order?
We recommend ordering enough for at least two-thirds of your families to ensure everyone feels personally invited into the experience.
What is the cost for our parish?
We keep it simple: For our four featured titles, you’ll pay $2 per copy on orders of 125 or more, plus shipping and handling is free. If you decide to order from our
60+ additional book titles, prices vary by quantity.

How do we fund this if there is no "evangelization" budget?
Many parishes find success with a single donor or a small group of parishioners who want to do something great for their community. Parish groups like the Knights of Columbus are also often incredibly generous.
When exactly should we hand out the books?
We recommend handing the books out before Mass as people enter the church. This creates a welcoming atmosphere and allows people to start reading while they wait for Mass to begin.
Should we wrap the books to make them look like gifts?
No. While it seems thoughtful, wrapping prevents people from reading before Mass and hides the cover, which is designed to draw people in.
Who should hand out the books?
Recruit your most joyful, "on fire" parishioners and families. Smiling kids are also hard to say no to! Avoid leaving books on a table; they should be personally handed to each person.
What if we have leftover books after Christmas?
Leftovers are an opportunity! Send them home with school students, give them to new parishioners as a welcome gift, or have your regulars share a second copy with a friend.
Can we involve our parish school?
Absolutely. Sharing the book with parents, teachers, and staff expands the program's reach and helps the whole community grow together.
