Meeting people where they are . . . Leading them to where God calls them to be!
Jean Pierre de Caussade
“There is no peace more wonderful than the peace we enjoy when faith shows us God in all created things.”
Jean Pierre de Caussade (1675–1751) was a French Jesuit priest, writer, and spiritual director. He is best known for his book Abandonment to Divine Providence, a collection of his conferences, retreat notes, and letters of spiritual direction. Today it is considered one of the great classics of Catholic spirituality. Other collections of Caussade’s writings include Spiritual Instructions on the Various States of Prayer, A Treatise on Prayer from the Heart, and Spiritual Letters. Through Caussade’s guidance and insight, millions have learned to see God in the present moment and at work in all things.
