We live in a troubled time. We see it in our world and in the Church. Many things simply seem impossible to fix with human effort alone. But we also face a world with exciting possibilities in God. Nothing is impossible with God.

John Michael Talbot has been inspiring audiences around the world for decades with his music and message. At a time when so many people are discouraged, he delivers a message filled with encouragement and hope. Raised Methodist, John Michael dropped out of school at age 15 to form the popular folk rock band Mason Profitt. Eventually Talbot became disillusioned with the rock music life. After a concert where Mason Proffit shared the stage with Janis Joplin, Talbot remembers looking out over the arena floor, now strewn with empty wine and whiskey bottles and drug paraphernalia, and thinking, “Suddenly it all seemed empty, sad.” Talbot went on a journey studying all forms of spirituality until God led him to his final spiritual home in Catholicism. During his many years of ministry John Michael founded a religious community called the Brothers and Sisters of Charity at Little Portion Hermitage—a canonical community of the Catholic Church with an integrated monastic expression of celibate brothers and sisters, families and singles. Today he is recognized as Catholic music’s most popular artist with over four million sales and compositions published in hymnals throughout the world. His newest album, Worship and Bow Down, is the fifty-third album in his thirty-seven years in Christian music ministry. John Michael is the author of twenty-five books, including his most recent Nothing is Impossible With God. Along with his many artistic achievements, his humanitarian efforts have been recognized with awards, including special recognition from Mercy Corps and the Mother Teresa Award.
