Meeting people where they are . . . Leading them to where God calls them to be!
St. Teresa of Avila
“Let nothing trouble you, let nothing make you afraid. All things pass away. God never changes. Patience obtains everything. God alone is enough.”
St. Teresa of Avila (1515–1582), also known as “Teresa of Jesus,” was a Spanish nun and co-founder of the Discalced Carmelites. Although she had no advanced education, her deep relationship with God gave her great wisdom. This is seen in her most prized works The Way of Perfection and The Interior Castle. St. Teresa also wrote an autobiography, which provides a simple account of her faith and her relationship with God. She wrote numerous soliloquies, poems, and letters as well.
