Dancing for Joy
In a wonderful act of humility, a pregnant Mary—the Mother of God—sets out to visit Elizabeth. When they greet each other, John the Baptist dances for joy in Elizabeth’s womb. We are invited to do the same in the presence of Jesus.
Dance for joy today. Think of one or two things that bring you joy, and dance—literally—even for just a few seconds.
Lamb of God, fill me with the unbridled joy that consumed John the Baptist, even in the womb.
