A Human Person
Jesus shares our humanity. He is closer to us and more like us than we often realize.
How do you envision Jesus? Can you picture him laughing, frustrated, excited, angry, sad, eating, hopeful, lonely, telling a joke, working . . . ? For a moment allow your mind to imagine what the person of Jesus was really like.
If you’re reading The Biggest Lie in the History of Christianity, begin reading chapters 11 and 12.
Sweet Jesus, it’s easy for me to forget that you are truly human and God. I want to know you more. Make me aware of my own humanity today so that I can better understand you.
When has Jesus addressed your human need?
