Why Perfectly Yourself? Because it provides a road map for discovering the dream God has for your life.
God made you wonderfully unique. And he dreams that you will chase, embrace, and celebrate the-very-best-version-of-yourself. But he knows how difficult that can be.
Often the natural desires to fit in and be accepted result in losing sight of who we are as marvelously unique individuals. And when that happens, the best thing we can do is turn back to God.
Turning back to God is not a new concept. Jesus began his ministry by talking about the need to turn back to God.
I don’t know about you, but I find myself needing to turn back to God many times a day, in ways small and large. It is not a matter of guilt, and it is not a shameful thing. I have simply come to realize that when I turn away from God, I am also turning my back on my true self. But with God, I am a better person—a better son, husband, father, brother, friend, employer, and citizen.
But this doesn’t happen by accident. It happens through a dynamic collaboration between us and God. That’s why I invite you to join nearly one million people for this year’s BEST LENT EVER program. We’ll focus our Lenten journey on creating that dynamic collaboration with God.
When you participate in BEST LENT EVER, you will receive a daily email with inspiring content based on Perfectly Yourself. I will personally present the content along with other members of the Dynamic Catholic team. Together we will journey from Ash Wednesday (February 14) to Easter Sunday (April 1).
The team at Dynamic Catholic has offered this free email program for five years, and we have clearly learned one powerful lesson: God does incredible things in the lives of those who make a commitment to the program from start to finish.
The purpose of Lent is to turn back to God through 40 days of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving in preparation for Easter. There is no better time to repent, and there is no better time to become perfectly yourself, than this Lent.
May your life be filled with God's abundant blessings,
PS: This year is my 25th anniversary as an author and a speaker. To celebrate, I am asking you to submit questions you would like me to answer, which I will then publish in a forthcoming book. Please send your questions to 25years@DynamicCatholic.com, and include your name, city, state, and country. Thank you for your help!
