People ask me, “What's The Biggest Lie in the History of Christianity all about? What's the book about?” The book’s about changing the world. And God's plan is to change the world one person at a time.
But if there's one thing we can all agree on, the world needs changing. The world needs changing. Everybody knows that. There's nobody who says, “No, the world doesn't need changing at all.” There's nobody who says, “No, the world's in great shape. Let's just keep it moving in the direction it’s moving.” The world needs changing. Everybody knows that. And the people who know it the most are the people who have children, and people who have grandchildren. They're worried about what the world will be like for their children and their grandchildren.
The world needs changing. Who's going to do it? If not you and me, then who? So where are we going to start? Let's start with you and me. Let's start with your church and my church. And let's start this Christmas.
The world needs changing. If you want to make a better world for your children and grandchildren, start by affecting what you can affect in your life and your parish.
